Where does it go?

Occasionally during construction we run into a situation where the “as built” doesn’t quite align with the “as drawn” on the plans. Workers were called in last week to actually see where and how the sewer lines connect in the courtyard.

Trenching through the mud

090505-5.jpgThe heavy rains this week have created a challenge for work in the courtyard. Trenching has been completed up to the building and workers are now digging in the old nursery rooms.

Next week we expect the metal mansard roofing to be romved from the B-Wing. Thursday mornings, representatives from Immanuel Christian School, Immanuel Bible Church, and Jack Bays Construction discuss upcoming construction efforts and likely impact on the school and church.

Courtyard trenching

Workers continued to dig the trench today with the red Virginia clay softened by our recent rains. Larger sewage lines will be installed that should take care of the back-flow problems we have experienced in the past.
