Closing In On It
It’s hard to believe that we will soon be able to occupy the renovated B-Wing. Several weeks ago the Building Committee hosted walk-thrus of the new spaces; the congregation had their first opportunity to see how much has been accomplished over the last 10 months. Now we are just weeks away from getting our occupancy permits and filling the hallways and classrooms with the sounds of ministry.
Carpeting, tile work, painting and trim: these are some of the remaining tasks that construction workers and fabricators are working on. Doors arrived this week and are already hung. Cabinets in the classrooms have been installed and new cabinetry and countertops have been installed in the first floor nursery areas. There is a lot of excitement as we see this first phase of the project nearing completion.
